The Magic of Dance Celebrated the Revolution on January 1st

The Cuban National Ballet Company held its traditional January 1st Gala at Havana’s National Theater celebrating the 56th anniversary of the victory of the Cuban Revolution.
The famous ballet ensemble staged the show the Magic of Dance, featuring excerpts of famous 19th century classics, such as Giselle, Swan Lake, the Nutcracker, Coppelia, Don Quixote, Sleeping Beauty and Gottchalk’s Symphony, choreographed by Cuban ballet legend and company director, Alicia Alonso. The anthology will go to the National Theater’s stage again on January3rd, 4th and 5th.
