Mythical US film producer, scriptwriter and director, Francis Ford Coppola, is in Cuba to exchange with students and professors from the San Antonio de los Baños International Film and TV School –EICTV- where he gave a lecture and toured its facilities.

During his stay in Havana until July 19th, the director of movies, such as The GodFather -1972, 1974 and 1990-, Apocalypse Now -1979-, and Dracula -1992-, is checking some audiovisual material made by EICTV students, to whom he will tell his views about them, and is set to meet with Cuban Film Institute President, Roberto Smith.

With five Oscar Awards and many other important international prizes, Ford Coppola, who is already part of the history and present of the world’s movie industry, recently received the Princess of Asturias Arts Award for 2015 in Spain.
