The Cuban National Ballet Company dazzled audiences with three performances of Don Quixote at the Royal Opera House in Muscat, Oman, over the weekend.

The Sultanate’s media has highlighted the virtuosity, technique and artistry of the dancers, led by world ballet legend, prima ballerina assoluta, Alicia Alonso, describing their performance as a very pleasant surprise, and the public’s appreciation of their grace, style and mastery of the ensemble’s talented performers.

The famous Cuban National Ballet is one of the most prestigious such companies in the world, with a specialized traditional repertoire and innovative contemporary choreographies especially created for the troupe. Since its establishment in 1948, the Cuban company has performed in more than 58 countries.
