Jan 17, -- Cuban GM Leinier Dominguez scored his 2nd consecutive win at the Tata Steel Chess Tournament after winning to his Hungarian counterpart Richar Rapport on Friday, in a contest which takes place until January 26th in 3 cities of Holland.

Dominguez, considered the best Latin-American player for his 2754 Elo points, won with the black pieces to Hungarian GM, only 17 years old, and 56th of the world ranking.

With this victory, the Cuban, who is ranked 14th in the world, came to 3 points, thanks to two wins, 2 draws and one loss.

This Saturday in the 6th round, the Caribbean, who is participating for the 4th time in this tournament, will play with white pieces against American GM Hikaru Nakamura (2789), 3rd in the world ranking.

Leinier and Nakamura have split the point in the last 3 times they have faced each other, all in the Grand Prix at the stages of London, Paris and Thessaloniki.
