Cuba Achieves Second Success in Regional Volleyball Tournament
Sept 27, -- The Cuban men's volleyball team achieved their 2nd straight win in the tournament of North, Central American and Caribbean (NORCECA), to remain undefeated despite many mistakes, by winning in 4 sets to Puerto Rico in Group B match, based in Langley, Canada.
Rolando Cepeda, Javier Jimenez and Dánger Quintana, excelled by Cuba with 26, 16 and 10 points, respectively, while Ezequiel Cruz with 14, highlighted by Puerto Ricans.
In the 3rd and final day of qualifying tops, Bahamas faces Puerto Rico while Cuba rests.
