Yarisley Silva finishes 4th in Bellizona

Havana, September 2 (RHC) – The Cuban Pole Vault athlete Yarisley Silva finished 4th with 4.56 m at the Gala of the Castles in Bellizona, Switzerland, this Sunday.

Silva was 4th behind three American jumpers led by Katie Nageotte, whi with 4.77 m won the event. In second placed finished Sandi Morris with 4.70 m, and Emily Grove completed the podium in 3rd place after jumping 4.63 m.

In the Swiss athletic meeting competed many of the best-ranked athletes of the World, including potential medal winners for the upcoming World Championship to be celebrated in Doha, Qatar.

Among the winners of the day, American Justin Gatlin, who won the 100 m Dash with a time of  9.97 seconds, and  Swiss Mujinga Kambunji, 11.12 second in the Women´s 100 m, were two of the most outstanding athletes.
