Cuba hosts Second Congress of the Association for Culture and Tourism in Latin America

Havana, September 18 (RHC)—Cuba´s Minister of Tourism of Cuba, Manuel Marrero Cruz, inaugurated Tuesday the Second Congress of the Association for Culture and Tourism in Latin America (ACTUAL) and the 17th edition of Meeting Place Cuba.

The events are being held at Havana´s Melia Cohíba Hotel with the participation of Event and Incentive tourism companies; associations, cultural and tourism companies in the world; chambers of commerce, travel agencies, tour operators, hotel companies, event organizers, airlines and media, all of them from America, Europe and Asia.

The events will run through tomorrow, Thursday.

The Association for Culture and Tourism in Latin America, is a non-profit association with the aim of disseminating the cultural heritage of the cities and towns of Latin America through tourism.

Comprised of 22 member countries and made up of entrepreneurs, hoteliers, travel agents, receptive operators, tour operators, meeting planners and specialized media, the organization has chapters in the United States of America, Canada and Spain.

 In addition to having recognized bodies worldwide such as the Universal Federation of Travel Agency Associations, UFTAA.
