This is a reminder that The International Nature Tourism Event this year is scheduled from September 22 to 27 in the Cuban western provinces, particularly in Pinar del Rio. There are new diving and fishing opportunities along with the customary hiking on paths and trails.

The opening is slated for the scientific center of National Botanic Garden of Havana, featuring talks on conservation and ecotourism, as well as presenting new products.

Another destination in Turnat 2015 is in the Las Terrazas, a sustainable natural Community already popular with hikers.

For of our listeners who are planning a December trip to Cuba in or around Havana, in the Pabexpo centre in Havana we have the International Craft Fair, famous for expressing the identity and cultural diversity of many different countries. This fair, promoting arts and crafts attracts thousands of visitors each year.

Lectures, exhibits, fashion shows, sales and the crafts themselves offer an opportunity for interaction and exchange between artists and the public. In its 12 previous editions, the original treatment of contemporary design in handicrafts has been remarkable, in pieces which, without losing their ancestral nature, exhibit an indisputable touch of modernity, whether applied to textiles, fibers, leather, precious and semiprecious stones, metals, clay, or any other material ready to be fashioned and beautified through the sensitivity of craft artists.
