Venezuelan Justice will Take Care of Perpetrators of Violence, says Attorney General

Caracas, February 13 (RHC) Vezuelan Attorney General Luisa Ortega said on Thursday that the perpetrators of Wedenesay's violent attacks, which resulted in 3 dead and 76 wounded, will be brought to justice and she called on the people to build peace in the country.

The attack by right wing groups, labeled fascists by the Venezuelan government, put at risk the lives of 800 workers at the Attorney General's building, which suffered huge damage, according to the official.

They attacked the building in an effort to prevent our workers from doing their job, but they will not stop us, said the official who announced that the investigation on the events is underway and that it counts on images of the perpetrators.

She called on the people to not be misled and to be on the alert because these actions could be the threshold of a bigger action by political factors that may be preparing other attacks against the country's institutions.

Peace cannot be made without justice and the perpetrators of those violent actions will pay for that, she warned as called on Venezuelans to work for peace and to support the disarmament law in the country, as well as the plan to prevent crime.
