PARLASUR Condenms Violent Actions in Venezuela

Montevideo, February 17 (RHC)-– The Parliament of the Southern Common Market (PARLASUR) has condemned all violent actions that have taken place in Venezuela and highlighted the need to resolve their problems without foreign intervention.

“We reject all kinds of violence and intolerance against the institutional and democratic order,” PARLASUR's Presidential Office stated.

Following the recent violent events in Venezuela, PARLASUR called on Venezuelans to strengthen their dialogue, as a way to build peace and unity.

PARLASUR expressed its condolences to the families of the victims of recent violence in Venezuela and announced the activation of the Democracy Monitoring Center of PARLASUR, which will soon send a delegation to Venezuela.
