Bolivian Lawmakers Join the Campaign to Assist Flooding Victims

La Paz, February 18 (RHC)-- In Bolivia, the Chamber of Deputies began aseries of actions to assist victims of floodings in the Andean nation.

In statements to the press, lawmaker for the ruling Movement towards Socialism Party Jorge Medina explained that several members of the lower chamber of deputies are visiting the affected areas to deliver food stuff and other provisions.

Medina stressed that Bolivian lawmakers are also donating a protion of their monthly salaries to collect some 11,000 dollars for the nearly 60,000 affected families across the country.
