Trump White House ignored CBP report linking climate change and increased migration

Washington, September 23 (RHC)-- A new report says that the Donald Trump administration ignored an internal study from one of its own agencies showing that climate change is driving Central American, and in particular Guatemalan, migration to the United Stattes.
The report by Customs and Border Protection confirms years of expert findings linking climate change to migration due to its negative impacts on farming, which lead to crop shortages, food and job insecurity, and poverty.
