Las Vegas, November 15 (RHC)-- At the Latin Grammys in Las Vegas, Chilean artist Mon Laferte exposed her breasts as she walked onto the red carpet, revealing the words: “In Chile, they torture, rape and kill” written across her chest.

Norma Monserrat Bustamante Laferte, known professionally as Mon Laferte, is a Chilean-born Mexican dual citizen singer-songwriter and actress who is currently the most listened to Chilean artist on Spotify worldwide.

The thirty-six year-old artist made her silent protest against the Chilean government as she arrived at the awards ceremony.   Mon Laferte went on to win the award for best alternative album -- which she dedicated to the people of Chile.  Later, she posted an image of her Grammys protest on Instagram, with the caption “My body is free for a free homeland.”
