Florida deaths surpass 6,000 with single-day record

Miami, July 29 (RHC)-- Florida has reported 191 coronavirus-related deaths in the past 24 hours, the highest single-day rise since the start of the epidemic, the state health department has said.

Florida's total death toll has now surpassed 6,000. The United States' third most populous state is now second only to California in its total number of COVID-19 cases, with 441,997, an increase of 9,230 from the day before.
