Washington, July 3 (RHC)-- The Department of Homeland Security says it is increasing security measures at overseas airports with nonstop flights to the United States.

Anonymous U.S. officials have cited concerns about bombs being smuggled onto U.S.-bound planes. The heightened security measures will reportedly take effect at airports in Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
