Cairo, July 29 (RHC)-- Egypt’s airline Air Sinai has cancelled its flight to Ben Gurion International Airport in Tel Aviv amid the ongoing Israeli war on the besieged Gaza Strip. The flight was reportedly cancelled on Monday because of security concerns. According to an airport official, the Egyptian carrier has two weekly flights on Mondays and Thursdays to Ben Gurion.

This comes as a number of the world's leading airlines suspended their flights to Israel's main airport on July 22 after a rocket fired from Gaza struck about a mile from its runways.

Since July 8th, Israeli warplanes have been pounding numerous sites in the Gaza Strip, demolishing houses and burying families in the rubble. Israeli tanks also began a ground offensive against the impoverished Palestinian land on July 17th.
