Buenos Aires, October 24 (RHC) – Argentinian President Cristina Fernandez was reported to be in a good health state, after visiting Wednesday evening the Favaloro Hospital in Buenos Aires.

“The president is fine,” said the Executive spokesperson Alfredo Scoccimaro on leaving the Favaloro hospital. “She must continue with strict rest and no stress until completing the 30 days since surgery.

The president is undergoing a normal post surgery period and does not present any cardio-vascular symptoms”.

It was her first appearance since 13 October when she was discharged from hospital and sent to the Olivos presidential residence for a strict 30 day rest-recovery period ordered by her medical team.

Given this and a ban on any flying, Cristina Fernandez will not be able to participate in the activities related to next Sunday's legislative elections, where she seek a majority in both houses of Parliament.

Fernandez underwent surgery last 8 October to remove a cranial blood clot.
