Hundreds Feared Dead in Nigeria After Boko Haram Attack

Abuja, January 9 (RHC)-- In Nigeria, the militant group Boko Haram has laid siege to the northeastern town of Baga. The militants have reportedly decimated the town and attacked surrounding areas, leaving bodies strewn in the streets.

According to reports, the death toll is feared to be in the hundreds, with estimates from local officials ranging from more than 100 to as high as 2,000 people.
