Santiago de Chile, February 23 (RHC-PL) -- On February 27th, Chilean President Michelle Bachelet will open the high-level international meeting "Women in Power and Decision Making: Building a Different World."

The two-day meeting will take place at the Cultural Center Mapocho Station in Santiago de Chile and will gather women heads of state or government, ministers, entrepreneurs, as well as representatives of the UN and civil society.

The participants will discuss challenges and proposals for the implementation of the Platform for Action related to its critical area: women, power and decision making. They will also tackle the strengthening of mobilizations, social awareness on gender equality and women empowerment.
