Buenos Aires, November 7 (RHC) -- Today, November 7th, marks one month since Argentinean President Cristina Fernández underwent surgery to have a blood clot removed, while the latest medical reports indicate the time for the head of state to return to office may be coming soon.

In statements to a Buenos Aires radio station the head of a

human rights organization, the Grandmothers of Plaza de Mayo, said that time could be on “November 9 or 10.”

At the end of last week, the Fundación Favaloro clinic issued report saying that the President continues to make progress and that authorities will determine whether she can return to official one month after the operation.

The Grandmothers of Plaza de Mayo said “It will be a celebration for sure. She will have to take care of

herself and we will have to help her. We are waiting to hug her, to see her.”
