Foreign Leaders Arrive in Russia for Victory Celebrations

Moscow, May 8 (RHC) -- Several heads of State and foreign delegations have already arrived in Russia to participate in the official celebrations for the 70th anniversary of the victory over fascism.

 

According to reports, the presidents of Belarus, Mongolia, India and Kyrgyzstan arrived in Moscow on Thursday. Cuban President Raul Castro is also among the guests, and is joined by Venezuela's Nicolas Maduro, who arrived early Friday morning in Moscow.

Arrival of the leaders and the official delegations of China, Kazakhstan, Vietnam and South Africa, as well as other presidents of the Community of Independent States, is scheduled for Friday.
