Caracas, June 1 (teleSUR-RHC)-- Pope Francis will meet with Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, Chile’s Michelle Bachelet and Argentina’s Cristina Fernandez beginning on Friday.

The Pope will meet President Maduro on June 7 in Rome. The three presidents will separately meet the Pope in the Vatican ahead of his tour of Latin America where he will visit Bolivia, Ecuador and Paraguay from July 5-13.

Another papal tour on the continent has been announced in 2016, with visits to Argentina, Chile and Uruguay.

The three Latin American presidents’ meeting with the Pope will coincide with a summit of the UN’s Organization for Food and Agriculture (FAO) between June 6-13 in Rome. They will then travel to Brussels to attend the joint summit between the EU and Community of Latin American and Caribbean States, which seeks to reinforce economic cooperation.
