Brasilia, November 22 (RHC) -- Brazil and Argentina have agreed to deepen co-operation on cyber security through the exchange of information.

During a Thursday meeting in Brasilia, Argentine Defence Minister, Agustin Rossi and his Brazilian counterpart, Celso Amorim said the two countries will step up bilateral co-operation in this field, through greater exchange of information between officials in armed forces who specialize in cyber security.

The ministers also said a regional cyber-security network will be developed within the framework of the defence council of the Union of South American Nations.

Brazil's concerns over Cyber security have increased after the revelation of U.S. spying on Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff, her closest aides, and the country's oil giant Petrobras.
