Tokyo, August 31 (RHC)-- In Japan, as many as 120,000 people took to the streets of Tokyo to protest new legislation to let Japanese troops fight abroad for the first time since World War II.

Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has backed the effort to rewrite Japan’s pacifist constitution. On Sunday, in one of the largest demonstrations in Japan since World War II, protesters called for peace and Abe’s resignation.
