Brazil and Nicaragua Discuss Cooperation

Managua, October 20 (PL-RHC)-- Working groups from Brazil and Nicaragua met in Managua on Monday for cooperation projects focused on agriculture, public health, gender equity, water and sanitation.

According to official media, the meeting was attended by the director for Latin America of the Brazilian Cooperation Agency, Maria Augusta Montalvão and the Secretary of External Cooperation of the Nicaraguan Foreign Ministry, Arlette Marenco.

Other officials were present, such as other government institutions of the South American country, and members of the Nicaraguan Ministries of Health, Home Economics, Environment, and Energy and Mines as well as the Army and the National Police.

The information refers to the meeting based on the Foreign Ministry held as part of strengthening the friendly relations and cooperation between Nicaragua and Brazil.
