Ramallah, November 20 (RHC)-- The Palestinian Prisoners' Society (PPS) says the Israeli regime has extended the detention of 90 Palestinian prisoners, including several minors, who are being kept in Israeli prisons on unknown charges.

The PPS said on Thursday that the extension ordered by Israeli courts is reportedly for further interrogations and completion of legal procedures, the Palestinian Ma’an news agency reported.

Since the beginning of October, when the Israeli aggression against Palestinians saw a new surge, there has been a rise in the number of arrests, according to Addameer, a Palestinian prisoner support and human rights association.

Israeli forces arrested 416 Palestinians in the first 12 days of November, including 122 minors, the PPS reported earlier this month, while Addameer noted that in October alone, some 1,000 Palestinians, including 147 children, were kidnapped by Israeli troops.
