La Paz, March 7 (RHC)-- Bolivian President Evo Morales has pointed to the significance of building a 300 million dollar Complex, home to nuclear research and technology development in El Alto City, in cooperation with the Russian company Rosatom.

Under the accord, which needs Congressional approval, Rosatom would help Bolivia develop infrastructure for its nuclear program focusing largely on improving the country's health care sector.

At the signing ceremony, President Morales said the project expands the official arrangements to guarantee Bolivia's development, and thanked his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, who has pledged Russian assistance, particularly the know-how and technology transfer.
