OPEC to Discuss the Oil Prices in April

Doha, Mar 17 (RHC) The Energy Minister of Qatar, Mohammed Bin Saleh Al-Sada, said 15 oil producer countries, members and non members of the OPEP, will meet on April 17th in Doha to vent potential solutions for the current oil price slump.

Al Sada, also the current OPEP chairman, said he has received confirmation from the producers that represent 73 percent the world oil production, to reach an agreement to freeze their output although Iran refuses to attend, and increases its political pressures to boost prices.
