Washington, March 31 (RHC-Telesur)-- Donald Trump would be the least popular general election candidate in U.S. history should he win the Republican nomination, according to a poll released Thursday.

Two-thirds of voters view Trump unfavorably, the highest rating for a candidate since the Washington Post and ABC News began polling 32 years ago.

More than 80 percent of Latinos, African Americans and young people dislike the racist billionaire.

The poll also revealed that although Trump does best with white men, even a majority of them (51 percent) view him unfavorably. Likewise, more than half of his supposed base, whites who lack college degrees, also expressed disapproval.
