Defense of Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff Submits Arguments to Appeals' Commission

Brasilia, Apr 4 (RHC) Attorney Jose Eduardo Cardozo will present today the arguments in defense of President Dilma Rousseff to the Chamber of Deputies Special Commission explaining the reasons against her impeachment.

Court reporter Jovair Arantes, said the 65-member special Legislative Committee has five sessions to listen, discuss and vote on Aranes' arguments and give an answer on April 7 at the latest

Henrique Fontana, of the Workers' Party, said that President Dilma Rousseff is being blamed with crimes committed during previous terms, and according to the Constitution, none President can be forced to step down because of the crimes of his predecessor.
