Damascus, July 5 (RHC)-- The Israeli regime’s latest aerial assaults on Syria have hit a Palestinian refugee camp, leaving three Palestinians dead and five other wounded.

The casualties came in Tel Aviv’s Monday airstrikes on the Khan al-Shih refugee camp, situated near the Syrian capital city of Damascus, the Palestinian Ma’an news agency quoted the relief organization Jafra Foundation for Relief and Youth Development.

Civilian houses as well as a center devoted to providing psychological support, recreation and hygiene awareness to children were also heavily damaged in the Israeli air raids, the organization added.

Palestinians residing in Khan al-Shih have been caught at the center of fighting between the Syrian government forces and foreign-backed terrorists.  They also suffer from dire humanitarian conditions and need medical services.
