Cuba, China Sign Commercial Action Plan

Havana, September 26 (RHC/Prensa Latina)-- The presidents of the Chamber of Commerce of Cuba and the Chinese Council for the Promotion of Foreign Trade, Orlando Hernandez and Jiang Zengwei, respectively, have signed a plan of action aimed at promoting trade between the two countries.

The document was signed at the end of the 12th session of the bilateral business Committee, held at Havana's Hotel Nacional, in the context of the visit to Cuba of Chinese Prime Minister, Li Keqiang.

Addressing the forum, Cuban Minister of Foreign Trade and Investment Rodrigo Malmierca said it was up to the commercial entities on both sides to materialize the will of cooperation expressed by both countries. Malmierca said to follow up on the agreement, a Cuban delegation will visit Beijing at the end of November.

Participants in the just ended Havana forum included representatives from 36 enterprises of the fields of computers, finances, machinery, real estate, and others.
