Cuba and Belarus Consider New Collaboration Agenda

Minsk, February 4 (RHC)-- Belarus and Cuba are currently considering new actions to boost the exchange of technology and products related to human and animal health, developed by the Cuba's Labiofam pharmaceutical enterprise.
According to diplomatic sources in the capital Minsk, a delegation from the Cuban company headed by its director Jose Antonio Fraga held a working meeting with Belarus' Health Minister Vasili Sharko to consider new cooperation opportunities.
During recent talks with Cuban ambassador to Minsk, Sharko affirmed his country's willingness to keep advancing bilateral collaboration links with the island in the biotechnological and pharmaceutical sectors.
Labiofam recently signed a collaboration accord in Moscow with a Russian company to jointly introduce a cancer drug on the Russian market. The Cuban enterprise is very active in African, Asian and Latin American countries.
