Hanoi, July 27 (RHC/VNA) – In meeting with Cuban military attaches, Viet Nam's Deputy Minister for Defense, Lieut. Gen. Nguyen Chi Vinh, highlighted the advanced state of defense cooperation between Vietnam and Cuba, describing it as a pillar and model for bilateral collaboration in other fields.
Vinh received Cuba’s outgoing and newly-accredited military, navigation and aviation attachés in Vietnam, Colonel Ramon Balaguer and Lieut. Colonel Juan Miguel Montano.
The Vietnamese deputy defense minister spoke highly of the contribution made by Colonel Ramon Balaguer in strengthening and promoting friendship and cooperation ties between the Vietnamese and Cuban military and peoples.
