Havana, August 9 (RHC)-- A week-long tribute to Cuban Revolution leader Fidel Castro on his 91st anniversary began Tuesday with an interview granted by Cuban Ambassador in Caracas Rogelio Polanco to the TV program 'Diálogo de Saberes,' on channel Vive TV.

The website of the Cuban Foreign Ministry (MINREX) reports that the program revisited Fidel's life and revolutionary work, from his youth to his close friendship with the supreme leader of the Bolivarian Revolution, Hugo Chavez.

In the interview, the senior Cuban diplomat stressed that Fidel left behind an everlasting legacy for Cuba and the peoples of the world, particularly his anti-imperialism and his internationalism.
