Ukrainian Scientists Interested in Cuban Cancer Products
Havana, February 11 (RHC)-- Ukrainian scientists and executives have expressed their interest in Cuban cancer medications produced by the Havana-based Labiofam pharmaceutical company.
The venom of a native Cuban scorpion has proved to be effective in arresting some kinds of cancer, while Labiofam continues to work on projects using chemical methods.
Representatives of Ukrainian pharmaceutical and scientific companies have expressed their interest in collaborating with Cuba in this area, and this was recorded by Labiofam´s director Jose Antonio Fraga in a recent visit to the Ukraine.
