Cuban Legislators Visit Moscow
Moscow, October 16 (RHC)-- A delegation from the National Assembly of People's Power (Cuban Parliament) is in Moscow participating in the 137th Assembly of the Inter-parliamentary Union.
Parliament Vice President Ana María Mari Machado is heading the Cuban delegation, which is also participating in activities on the 100th anniversary of the October Revolution.
Leaders of the Communist Party of Russia presented the Cuban legislative delegation with the Commemorative Medal. During the ceremony, the Russian Communists underscored the friendship and solidarity ties between the two nations and the legacy of Cuban Revolution leader Fidel Castro.
