Cuba and Romania Sign Higher Education Agreement

Havana, February 14 (RHC)-- Cuban Minister of Higher Education, Rodolfo Alarcon, and Gigel Paraschiv, Deputy Higher Education Minister of Romania, signed on Thursday an agreement to strengthen cooperation in university studies between the two nations.

The document was signed within the framework of the 9th International Congress Universidad 2014, held at Havana’s Convention Center, and is aimed at increasing exchanges of students and professors. Renowned academic authorities of the European nation took part in the ceremony.

Participating in Universidad 2014, a forum that ended Friday, were professionals from over 40 countries to contribute to use higher studies with social development in mind.
