Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel receives Evo Morales in Havana

Havana, April 23 (RHC)-- Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel has met with his Bolivian counterpart, Evo Morales, at the Palacio de la Revolucion in Havana.

The Bolivian president arrived last night in the Cuban capital.  Speaking with reporters, Evo Morales said that with the official visit that began Monday, Cuba will advance projects promoted by the Cuban revolutionary leaders Fidel Castro and Raul Castro for the benefit of Latin America and the world.  

Evo Morales' agenda in Havana includes a tour of the facilities of the Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology. 

The Bolivian president is the second head of state to visit Cuba since Miguel Diaz-Canel was elected President of Cuba on April 19th.
