Havana, April 23 (RHC)-- Following an invitation from the Cuban Minister of Public Health, Roberto Morales Ojeda, the Secretary of the Cabinet (Minister) for Health, Mrs. Sicily K. Kariuki, is heading the Kenyan delegation to the International Convention and Trade Fair for Health "Cuba Health 2018,” being held in Havana until Friday, April 27th.

The large visiting delegation is also composed of members of Parliament, the Board of Governors and directors of the Kenyan Ministry of Health who will take advantage of the occasion to exchange about Cuban experiences in this sector and to publicize Kenya's efforts to improve the quality of health services.

With the visit to Cuba of Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta last March, relations between the two countries, and especially both Ministries of Health, received a remarkable boost that will benefit both countries.  It is expected that a brigade of Cuban doctors will soon arrive in Kenya.
