Santa Clara, March 14 (RHC) -- The president of Vietnam's Supreme Court, Truong Joa Bin, visited the Cuban province of Villa Clara and the courtroom where Fidel Castro presented his defense after his arrest at a political meeting in Cienfuegos in December 1950.

During a tour of the area, the Vietnamese leader expressed his admiration for Fidel Castro, who he said demonstrated Cuba's solidarity with the Asian country in the most difficult times.

The Cuban president of Villa Clara's Provincial Tribunal, Edel Gonzalez, explained the functioning and structure of the court to the Vietnamese delegation. He highlighted the importance of sharing knowledge and strategies to strengthen the well-being of both countries, Cuba and Vietnam.

Truong Hoa Binh also paid homage to Ernesto Che Guevara on Friday at the mausoleum located in Santa Clara.
