Havana, November 14 (RHC)-- The National Assembly of Peoples' Power (Cuban Parliament) has called for a massive campaign, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 15th, on occasion of the completion that day of the public consultation of a draft Cuban Constitution.

With the hashtags #Cuba, #HacemosCuba and #ReformaConstitucional, the twitter campaign will pay homage to the millions of Cubans, inside and outside the country, who with their active participation in public meetings held in work places, educational centers and neighborhoods across the country, have contributed effectively to the writing of a new Magna Carta.

In the public consultation process, which began on August 13th and runs through November 15th, Cubans from all walks of life have openly debated the draft document, contributing their opinions and suggestions for modifications, additions and eliminations.

The criteria gathered in those public meetings will be taken into account by the National Commission in charge of writing the final version that will be submitted for debate and approval, first by the National Assembly of People's Power at the end of this year. It will be later submitted to a national referendum in early 2019.
