Moscow, March 21 (RHC) The Book 'Fidel Castro: Biography of a Patriot' by Russian journalist Máxim Makarishev, has been launched in Moscow.

The author said the book describes the admiration several generations of Russian citizens feel for the historical leader of the Cuban Revolution, as well as the long-standing friendship between the two peoples.

At the book launching, Cuba's Ambassador to Russia, Emilio Lozada said that the literary work belongs to the political biography series about the author of 'History Will Absolve Me', created in 1999 by retired Liutenant General Nikolai Leonov and historian Vladimir Borodaev.

The book presentation took place at the headquarters of the newspaper Rosiskaya Gazeta with the attendance of veterans of the 1962 Missile Crisis, Russian internationalist fighters and other Russian political and literary figures.
