Cuba rejects attempted coup in Venezuela

Havana, April 30 (RHC)-- Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel rejected the attempted coup in Venezuela on Tuesday morning.

In a tweet, the Cuban head of state said that the traitors who led this subversive movement has employed military troops and police with weapons on a public road to create uncertainty and terror.

Likewise, Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez also took to Twitter to condemn the attempted coup and reiterated the island’s firm support and solidarity with the Venezuelan people and its constitutional President Nicolas Maduro.
