Cuban domestic trade representatives hold convention

Havana, May 13 (RHC)—Cuba´s 2nd Trade Convention is kicking off Monday. The event is being attended by over 400 delegates from all over the island, who will debate ways on how to modernize domestic trade.

The convention seeks to encourage integration and development of trade exchange in Cuba and bring them to contemporary standards.  Top on its agenda will be consumer´s protection, gastronomy, marketing tools in retail trade, food safety, and the application of Information Technologies in the sector,  among other subjects.

In accordance with their higher presence of self-employed entrepreneurs in the service and catering sectors, they are expected to have a great participation.

The event will run until Friday at Havana´s Convention Center.
