Haitian Solidarity Activists Mark Bilateral Relations with Cuba

Havana, April 2 (RHC) A Haitian solidarity brigade visiting Havana marked the historic relations between Cuba and that sister Caribbean nation and affirmed its support of the Cuban people.

During a ceremony held at the Havana-based Caribbean Association of Cuba, the members of the Antenor Fermin solidarity brigade recalled the links between the two nations and met with personalities that have contributed to those relations.

Caribbean Association president Maria Rollock briefed activists about her organization and its work to rescue the history and culture of the nations of the region.

The activists will stay in Cuba till Monday and their agenda include voluntary work and visits to centers of historic and cultural interest in different parts of the island.
