Haitian Solidarity with Cuba Brigade Visits Viñales Valley

Havana, Apr 5 (RHC), – The first Haitian solidarity to Cuba brigade " Antenor Firmin " in its second day of exploring Pinar del Río, as activists are visiting places of economic and historical interest of Viñales, declared by UNESCO Cultural Landscape.

The tour covers the monumental complex built by the legendary Malagones patrol, first 12 militiamen of the Revolution and the Moncada UBPC, where they will learn details about the tobacco plantations and its culture.

Also they will go to the Mural of Prehistory, one of the largest open air frescos on the planet, 120 meters high and 180 metres wide, continues to be in harmony with the landscape of the area, one of the oldest in Cuba .

Later in the evening, they will exchange with members of the Defense of the Revolution ( CDR) number 98, in the Hermanos Cruz neighborhood, the most populous in the city of Pinar del Rio .

This brigade of solidarity with Cuba arrived on Monday to complete a wide range of activities for a week, in tribute to the 210 anniversary of the independence of the Republic from the French colonialism.
