Cuba and China sign Agreement of Friendship and Collaboration

Beijing, July 16 (RHC)-- Fernando Gonzalez Llort,  hero of the Republic of Cuba and president of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP) began an official visit to the People's Republic of China, aimed at strengthening the historic ties of solidarity and brotherhood between the two countries.

ICAP´s  President  and his counterpart, the president of the Association of Friendship of the Chinese People Abroad (AAPCHE), Li Xiaolin, signed an Agreement of Friendship and Collaboration aimed at strengthening the historic and traditional bonds of solidarity and brotherhood between the two nations. 

The visit to China by the ICAP delegation is part of the Asia tour that will also include the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, India and Nepal, the latter to participate in the Asia-Pacific Regional Event of Solidarity with Cuba, which will be dedicated in this edition to commemorate the 60th Anniversary of the Triumph of the Cuban Revolution and the 60th anniversary of the visit of Commander Ernesto Che Guevara to Asia, as well as to keep alive the legacy of our historic leader Fidel Castro.
