President of Cuban Parliament welcomes president of Zimbabwe's Senate
Havana, September 4 (RHC)--Esteban Lazo Hernandez, president of the National Assembly of People's Power, received Mabel Mémory-Chinomona, president of the Senate of the Republic of Zimbabwe, at the seat of Parliament on Wednesday.
During the meeting, Lazo Hernandez highlighted the close ties that unite both peoples, recalled the common history of the two nations and highlighted the effects of the imperial blockade on the island and the constant hostility of the U.S. government towards Cuba.
The president of the Senate of Zimbabwe thanked the Cuban people for their solidarity in all areas, including collaboration, and stressed the indestructible friendship that unites them in the face of imperialist aggressions.
\Mabel Mémory-Chinomona, is on an official visit to Cuba where she has participated in various activities. Her visit is to conclude on Friday
