Cuban delegation promotes business in Canada

Ottawa, November 27 (RHC)--  A delegation of Cuba´s Ministry of Industries and Energy is currently in the Canadian capital for a business promotion visit.

The delegation intends to explore and promote business opportunities, with a focus on the industrial sector, especially energy, oil, and the iron and steel industry projects.

The Cuban team, headed by Deputy Minister of Energy and Mines Yuri Viramontes, is made up of officials from the Ministry of Industries, the Iron and Steel Business Group, the Ministry of Foreign Trade and the Chamber of Commerce.

Canada is Cuba's fourth-largest trading partner, with several companies from the northern country interested in developing their activities on the island, mainly in the chemical and food industries, construction, energy, and transportation.
